I believe that rap music’s roots was meant to be communicated through the heart. That police aren’t supposed to be the reason people hate America. I believe that love in its purest form is what a new mother feels after the E.R. battle is over. That spaghetti is the face of evil and tacos are the symbol of greatness. Warm blankets on cold nights. A good book. The moment in the fourth quarter when the ball is in the air and the game on the line. Blue Bell ice cream’s amazing flavors. That moment when you see your best friend after two years. I believe in that blink of an eye moment when you catch a glimpse of a shooting star and you feel like your wish of worry free life has come true.
