Byran Roche from the University of Ireland writes an article on IQ test to argue that these quizzes do not measure real intelligence. Roche uses other articles to reinforce his point and reveal other facts about the standardized IQ test. Roche also uses studies to uncover data from real life experiments to show that IQ scores aren’t set into your body. He also mentions the mistakes and different faults of the physiologist when they made the test, then he gives examples of what the IQ test should do to back up his argument. Roche also states the history of the IQ test to argue the purpose of the quiz.

In the beginning of Byran Roche’s article he starts off with a statement that hones the attention of the audience, he starts the article with a statement that will make his audience offended. He goes on to rebut the points made by scientist by saying that the original use of the IQ test is for good purposes. His audience is people who think that IQ limits there abilities. Than Roche proposes a challenge to help children believe that they are smart
